About Us

Empowering Africa's youth through training, mentorship, and community development

Our Story

Founded in 2019 in Monrovia, Liberia, Young Africans Capacity Building Network (YACNET) emerged from a vision to transform African youth into catalysts for sustainable development. What began as a small grassroots initiative has now expanded into a continental movement.

Our mission is to actively promote gender equality, civic engagement, and capacity building as fundamental pillars for advancing youth employment. Through our grassroots initiatives, we strive to provide educational opportunities, facilitate skills development, and create an enabling environment where young people can thrive, contribute to their communities, and actively participate in shaping a brighter future for themselves and society as a whole.

Our Vision

We envision a society where gender equality is fully realized, civic engagement is embraced, and capacity building is prioritized as crucial components for fostering youth employment and development across Africa.
